Leave for an early morning excursion to Sarangkot to witness the sunrise over Himalaya.
Sarangkot is one of the most popular places to visit in Nepal. You can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara valley. Being only 5 kms away from LakeSide, Sarangkot is also the highest view point to witness a sunrise.
Leave for the half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara city. It also includes a 01-hour Boating at Phewa Lake.
Your first spot will be Devi’s fall. Locally known as Patale Chango (Hell’s fall) is a lovely waterfall. Legend has it that a trekker by the name of Davy was washed away by the Padi Khola and mysteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.
Your next visit will be to Gupteshwor Cave. A sacred cave and one of the intriguing parts of Pokhara sightseeing, lies 2 kms from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Devi's fall and the cave is almost 3 km long. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all fours.
Then you will go ahead and reach the Old Bazaar and Bindyabasini Temple. The old bazaar is a typical traditional bazaar, colorful with ethnically diverse traders selling different items. This area is strewn with shops with commodities ranging from edibles and clothes, cosmetics and gold.
The old Bazaar is also home to one of Pokhara’s most important shrines. Locally called the Bindyabasini Mandir, this white dome- like structure dominates a spacious stone – paved courtyard built atop a shady hillock. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati, yet another manifestation of Shakti.
